JSF aims to give back to the community in form of upgrade of schools’ facilities, community improvement, community empowerment and special programs such as World Widow’s Day, Cancer Awareness, International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.
- School Facilities Upgrade
Most community school facilities are far below standard and they could be detriment to the safety of the students. At JSF, we have taken it upon ourselves to give a good face to the schools. This is to provide a good learning environment for the students in the community and also to make sure that a sustainable structure that will last longer is available.
- Back to School Programs
Just as the name tag implies, it is mainly to assist indigent students back to school. This program comes up every first term (beginning of a new session.) Therefore, new items needed by school students for use during the session (school bags, books and stationeries) are provided to them.
- Special Programs
Aligning with United Nations’ declaration of days to celebrate women, widows, orphans and the less privileged, at JSF, we organize special programs to commemorate these events. Some of these events are:
- International Day for the Eradication of Poverty October 17
- International Widow’s Day June 23
- World Orphan’s Day November 13
- Breast Cancer Awareness October 20
